Do you want to help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?

If you answered yes to one of the above questions, you are in the right place.  Welcome to my Superbowl Squares Fundraising page!

How It Works

1.  The only football knowledge you need to know is that there are 4 quarters in a game.

2.  We are using a standard square grid 10 X 10 for a total of 100 squares.

3.  In order to play, each person will purchase a square for $20 (or 2 squares for $40, 3 squares for $60, etc.)  Purchase as many squares as you want.

4.  There are three ways to purchase squares.  If you are local, you can pay cash!  If not, you can mail me a check (let me know and I will give you my mailing address) or you can pay online using paypal.

5.  Since this is a fundraiser, of the $20, $10 goes directly to LLS for a tax deductible donation, the other $10 goes into the winner’s pot.

6.  Squares will be randomly assigned.  We will number all the squares 1 through 100 and randomly draw one number and one name.  That will be your square.

7.  The columns will be labeled NFC team and the rows will be labeled AFC team.  They will also be randomly assigned numbers 0 through 9.

8.  The winner for each quarter is determined by the second number in each teams score for that quarter.  For example, if the score at the end of the 1st quarter is NFC 10 to AFC 7, then the person whose name was assigned to box where the NFC team labeled 0 intersects with the AFC team labeled 7 wins that quarter.

9.  Pay out will be as follows:

• 50% of the total amount will be donated to LLS ($1000).
• The remaining amount will be divided among the 4 quarters:
• 1st – $150 (15%)
• Halftime – $300 (30%)
• 3rd – $150 (15%)
• 4th – $400 (40%)

10.  The deadline to participate in this fundraiser is February 4, 2012 at midnight.

11.  Any squares not purchased will be labeled LLS and the money will be added to the final donation amount.

12.  I will email everyone who purchased a square a picture of the final grid so that you can follow along.
